Patient Support Associate Hourly Pay Range: $18.76 - $27.20 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Patient Support Associate for our busy Medical Group Urogynecology and Female Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery division located in our administrative office on the Skokie campus with travel to Highland Park for vacation coverage. This is a full-time position (40 hrs/wk) and is benefits eligible. Hours will be scheduled/rotated Monday through Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 pm, Friday 7:00am 4:00pm.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
  • Answer all incoming telephone calls from patients, physicians, and other departments and handle each as appropriate in accordance with Endeavor Health telephone customer service standards and practice protocols including documenting in Epic telephone encounters
  • Utilize Epic to schedule and register all new, established, and post-procedure patients in accordance with patient and physician preferences, physician availability, and practice protocols
  • Obtain prior authorization for procedures
  • Review provider templates
  • Provide other administrative support under the direction of the Physicians and Practice Manager
