Registered Respiratory Therapist II

Provide respiratory care across patient care areas, including oxygen therapy, ventilator management, diagnostic procedures, blood gas analysis, emergency respiratory interventions and patient education. Evaluate treatment effectiveness, document care and communicate with the healthcare team. Administer oxygen delivery and prescribed respiratory therapies. Initiate, monitor and maintain mechanical and non-invasive ventilators. Perform diagnostic procedures and blood sampling analysis; evaluate results. Assess current therapies and recommend care plans and patient education. Provide and modify respiratory care during emergencies. Document therapy and results, communicate with the healthcare team, and maintain equipment and regulatory proficiency.
