Diesel Mechanic Mobile

Responsibilities: Diagnose & Repair: Accurately troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic failures on Class 8 Diesel Trucks directly in the field. Preventative Maintenance: Execute routine maintenance checks, DOT-style inspections, and preventive repairs for optimal fleet performance. Field Operations: Effectively utilize a comprehensive set of hand tools, power tools, and advanced diagnostic equipment. Customer Service: Professionally communicate with clients regarding service needs, provide repair recommendations, and maintain accurate records of work and parts used. Professional Growth: Stay current on industry best practices, new diesel engine technologies, and related truck systems.

Experience: Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician. Technical Knowledge: Strong command of diesel engine components (e.g., Cummins, Detroit, CAT experience is a plus), transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Mobility: Must have a Valid Driver's License (Required) and the ability to work independently in a field setting. Physical Stamina: Physical capability for heavy lifting and safely working in various outdoor conditions.
