Position: Assistant Maintenance Technician
Location: Spring Branch and Greenspoint
About the Role:
As our Assistant Maintenance Technician, you’ll work closely with the Lead Maintenance to ensure the property is well‑maintained, safe, and operating efficiently. This role involves assisting with repairs, preventative maintenance, and providing exceptional service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with routine maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs
PerformHVAC troubleshooting and repairs (AC certification required)
Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
Help prepare vacant units for new residents (turns/make‑ready)
Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas
Participate in on‑call rotations as needed
Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and property standards
QualificationsAC Certification (EPA Type I/II or Universal required)
Experience in the multifamily or residential maintenance industry required
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general building systems
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
