Travel Occupational Therapist - $2,231 per week

Location: Columbus, Nebraska Assignment Length: 13 weeks Start Date: November 30, 2026 Shift: 8-hour Days Charting System: Paragon Charting Device: iPad provided by the facility Call-Off Policy: Facility may call off travelers for up to 3 shifts during the 13-week assignment without penalty Responsibilities Evaluate patients to assess functional abilities, limitations, and occupational therapy needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical needs. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, coordination, independence, and activities of daily living. Assist patients with adapting to physical, cognitive, or functional limitations. Recommend and educate patients on adaptive equipment, techniques, and strategies to support independence. Monitor and document patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, case managers, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans, home programs, safety, and continued care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Follow facility policies, infection prevention practices, and patient safety standards. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications: Current Occupational Therapist license in Nebraska or eligibility through a compact state, as applicable. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). Previous professional occupational therapy experience required; new graduates will not be considered. Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and current automobile insurance. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
