DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain various reports on a daily, weekly, monthly basis Assist with the review and maintenance inventory procedures (daily, weekly)Assist with vendor ordering and review of invoicing (daily, weekly)Order, clean, rotate merchandise (Check expiration dates and face-off product)Check-in and meet with vendors Price and stock merchandise, build displays Learn and become proficient with daily data collection and input into the system Process invoices, mark-ups, mark-downs, and price changes Assist in training and motivating store employees (safety, maintenance, cleaning, etc.)Provide friendly and efficient customer service (assist customers when needed)Perform cashier and attendant duties Assist with maintaining the store’s site image inside and out (cleaning, stocking, etc.)Enforce and abide by all corporate policies and procedures Operate cash register to enter a convenience store and gasoline purchases Account for all monies, cigarettes and lottery tickets on shift Assist in cooking convenient store food if applicable Light janitorial duties – collect and dispose of trash, wash windows, clean and maintain equipment, lot car wash buildingREQUIREMENTSMinimal education of high school graduate or GEDExperience with handling money Must be flexible to work various schedules (weekends, holidays, overtime as needed)Must have the ability to accurately handle money Must have strong attention to detail Must possess excellent verbal and communication skills Must have excellent customer service skills Must be capable of effectively communicating with customers and employees Must be able to work independently and be self-motivatedPHYSICAL DEMANDSMust be able to stand or walk for duration of shift Regularly lift and or move up to 20 lbs.
