CT Technologist

HealthONE is seeking a skilled CT Technologist PRN to perform high-quality CT imaging for diverse patient populations in Denver. In this PRN role, you’ll operate advanced CT equipment, follow physician imaging protocols, and ensure accurate, timely image acquisition. Responsibilities include patient preparation, positioning, radiation safety, and proper documentation in PACS/EMR systems. You will collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to support superior patient care. Perform CT scans according to physician orders and imaging protocols Prepare and position patients to obtain optimal diagnostic images Operate and troubleshoot CT scanners and related imaging equipment Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards Evaluate image quality and submit studies via PACS Document procedures accurately in EMR systems Communicate effectively with radiologists and care team members Provide compassionate care, explanation, and support to patients Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment readiness Follow departmental policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements CT imaging protocols Operation of CT scanners Radiation safety and dose optimization Patient positioning and immobilization PACS operation and image management Electronic medical record documentation IV contrast administration and monitoring Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy Infection control practices Emergency response in imaging suite Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (R) ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) certification preferred or within specified timeframe Current BLS certification Valid state radiologic technologist license (if applicable) Knowledge of radiation safety standards
