Registered Nurse (RN)

connectRN is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care across long-term care and healthcare facilities. In this flexible, per-diem role, you’ll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care; administer medications and treatments; and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support safe, person-centered outcomes. You’ll document accurately in facility systems, follow infection control and safety protocols, and respond to changes in patient conditions. Using connectRN’s technology platform, you’ll select shifts that fit your schedule while supporting facilities with critical staffing needs. Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately Monitor, document, and report changes in patient condition Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams Maintain accurate, timely electronic and paper documentation Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines Educate patients, residents, and families on care plans Use connectRN’s platform to select and manage per-diem shifts Support long-term care and other partner facilities with staffing needs Patient assessment Care planning and implementation Medication administration Wound care IV therapy Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation Infection control practices Patient and family education Time management and prioritization Interdisciplinary team collaboration Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent) ACLS preferred depending on facility requirements Experience in long-term care, SNF, or acute care preferred Ability to use electronic health record (EHR) systems Knowledge of infection control and patient safety standards
