About WeaponUpWeaponUp is a fast-growing women’s wellness company and the creator of The Original Sword Yoga™, a movement practice combining the kung fu straight sword with yoga. Through our online Studio, community, live experiences and events, WeaponUp is building a new approach to movement centered around strength, confidence and grace. Our global community is made up almost entirely of women, and our mission is simple: to create movement experiences that help women feel graceful, empowered, more capable and more at home in their bodies. WeaponUp is a growing, founder-led company based in Florida, with a creative, fast-moving team working across content, community, events, partnerships and digital wellness. As WeaponUp continues to grow, we’re looking for a part-time Talent & Production Coordinator to help us identify new talent and coordinate the process of bringing instructors and other movement professionals into the WeaponUp Studio.
About the Role: This role will work directly with WeaponUp’s Founder & CEO and will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our growing talent pipeline. A large part of the role will involve researching and sourcing potential instructors and movement talent, particularly across Florida. You’ll identify strong candidates, conduct initial outreach, manage applications and submissions, and organize potential talent for review. Once someone is selected, you’ll help manage the operational process of getting them ready for production—from coordinating schedules and agreements to tracking programming and production requirements. The Founder will lead the overall creative direction and make final talent selections. You’ll be responsible for the research, coordination and follow-through that keeps the process moving.
Responsibilities:
  • Research and source potential instructors and movement talent
  • Identify candidates through social media, studios, professional networks, referrals and direct research
  • Review candidate profiles, portfolios, reels and other materials
  • Maintain WeaponUp’s talent database and track candidates throughout the process
  • Conduct initial outreach and manage talent communications
  • Manage applications, submissions and follow-ups
  • Coordinate interviews, auditions and meetings
  • Prepare organized candidate shortlists for Founder review
  • Coordinate availability, scheduling and production logistics
  • Track agreements, programming, deadlines and production requirements
  • Communicate with talent before and after production
  • Keep accurate records and ensure next steps are consistently followed
  • Assist with other talent and production-related projects as the Studio grows
