EHS Manager – Port Washington, WIImmediate Need SAVI EHS is actively seeking an experienced EHS Manager to support an active construction project in Port Washington, WI. This individual will work closely with project leadership, superintendents, subcontractors, and field personnel to support daily safety operations and maintain compliance with project-specific and OSHA safety requirements. Location & Compensation Port Washington, WI – On-Site
Pay Rate: $45–$50 per hour (based on experience)
Potential for Per Diem
Position Summary: We are seeking a qualified Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager with 5–7 years of direct experience who can independently manage site safety operations and partner with project leadership to maintain a safe, compliant job site.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary EHS representative for the client on site
  • Implement and enforce project-specific safety plans, AHAs/JHAs, and client requirements
  • Perform daily site inspections, audits, and safety observations
  • Track corrective actions and ensure timely closure
  • Lead incident, near-miss, and hazard investigations with root cause analysis
  • Interface with project management, subcontractors, owners’ representatives, and regulatory agencies
  • Conduct site orientations, toolbox talks, and safety meetings
  • Monitor safety trends, metrics, and compliance documentation
  • Support high-risk activities including cranes, rigging, MEWPs, excavation, electrical safety, and LOTORequired Qualifications5–7 years of construction safety experience, representing a General Contractor
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 Construction StandardsOSHA 30 required (OSHA 510 preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience managing subcontractor safety compliance
  • Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work full-time on site in Port Washington, WIPreferred QualificationsBCSP certification preferred: CHST, ASP, or CSPExperience supporting large-scale, high-risk construction environments
Familiarity with safety management platforms (iAuditor, Procore, Predictive Solutions, etc.)
