Key qualifications:
Master's degree and six years of professional research experience in water pollution control, environmental sciences, public health, or natural sciences (Ph. D. may substitute for one year)

Knowledge of state and federal water quality standards and their development and implementation
Experience with analytical chemistry, water quality measurement, and quality assurance protocols
Strong public speaking and presentation skills with ability to address controversial topics
Experience establishing and maintaining partnerships with federal, state, local agencies and nonprofits
