We want to hear from you, so come grow with us!!!How You Will Impact Southern States Cooperative: Qualify with the U.S. Coast Guard as "Person in Charge" of receiving petroleum products by barge into terminal storage. Supervise barge unloading into storage tanks. Observe safety procedures in terminal operations and advise supervisor when abuse occurs or when up-grades need to be made in safety procedures. Obtain 40 hour HAZMAT technician level training after one year experience on the job. Perform maintenance and repairs for daily terminal operations. Assist with driver training for loading rack procedures. Perform daily housekeeping throughout the entire terminal operation. Take actual inventories on a daily and end of month basis. Understand and perform explicit instructions from supervisors
