Media Law Attorney for Journalists — Michigan

The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press seeks a Michigan Local Legal Initiative Attorney based in Michigan, with preference for Detroit, Lansing, or Grand Rapids areas. You will advise and represent journalists in access to records, FOIA, and First Amendment matters, and contribute to amicus work and trainings. This full-time role reports to the Director of the Local Legal Initiative and involves occasional travel within Michigan and to Washington, D.C.
