Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized dental procedures for children
- Provide preventive treatments, including cleanings, fluoride applications, and sealants
- Offer oral health education and counseling to patients and their families
- Diagnose and treat various oral health conditions specific to pediatric patients
- Foster a warm, positive, and educational environment for young patients
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Pediatric Dentistry with extensive knowledge of the field
- Prior experience providing comprehensive dental care to children is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to create a comforting atmosphere for children and families
- Current licensure to practice dentistry in California
- Certification in Pediatric Dentistry or eligibility to obtain certification is preferred
- Experience working in a pediatric-focused or family-oriented dental practice is a plus
