Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a Real Estate Transactional Associate in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will support the Community Development Finance Practice Group, focusing on real estate transactions, including lending and joint venture financing, with an emphasis on tax credits.
Duties:
Draft senior, real estate secured loan documents and joint venture agreements.
Review title commitments, recorded documents, and surveys.
Oversee paralegal title and survey review.
Represent lenders, investors, and syndicators in tax credit real estate financings.
Requirements3rd to 5th year associate with recent real estate transactional experience.
Licensed to practice in the state of the office location.
Strong writing skills and excellent academic credentials.
EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications:
State Bar license in the corresponding state.
SkillsExperience with tax credit transactions.
Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
