This is an outpatient-focused role in a supportive ambulatory Hem/Onc clinic with strong clinical support staff.
Position Details
Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
Hours: 7:00 AM 4:00 PMNo Call
Required
Patient Population: Adult
Average Volume: 15 patients per day Focus: Primarily benign hematology with some oncology cases
Clinical Responsibilities:
- New patient consultations and follow-up visits
- Manage outpatient hematology/oncology care
- Write orders and prescriptions
- Coordinate treatment plans with pharmacy and infusion services
- Practice Support:
- Oncology nurses
- Oncology navigator
- Infusion specialists
- Pharmacy staff
- Administrative support
- Additional physicians and APPs onsite
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Hematology and/or Oncology
- North Carolina Medical License
- RequiredDEARequiredBLS Certification2 3 years of experience preferredEMR: Epic
