What we're looking for:
- Active California Bar License
- Active State Bar membership in good standing
- Experience inRemoval Defense / EOIR matters
- Strong legal writing, case analysis, and advocacy skills
- Courtroom confidence and sound professional judgment
- A genuine passion for litigation and for the clients we serve
- Ability to workin personin our
- San Diego office
- Spanish isdesirable, but not required
What you'll do:
- Represent clients inEOIR proceedingsand removal defense matters
- Appear atMaster Calendar Hearingsand
- Individual Hearings
- Prepare motions, briefs, legal arguments, and applications for relief
- Conduct client consultations and strategy meetings
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
- Advocate for clients with empathy, professionalism, and urgency
