Job Title In this position...In this role you will produce the daily and weekly production schedules for final, sub-assembly and machining (Volume/Mix/Sequence) and utilize the Common Material Management System (CMMS) Inventory Management System to schedule assembly lines and to communicate to customers
Responsibilities: What you'll do...Produce the daily and weekly production schedules for final, sub-assembly and machining (Volume/Mix/Sequence)Utilize the Common Material Management System (CMMS) Inventory Management System to schedule assembly lines Follow up on VO shipments and distributions daily Support final balance outs and running changes to customers Track daily shipping status, daily parts follow-up and min/max reporting to support production schedule Coordinate shipments to and from local suppliers / warehouses Correct shipping transactions and monitor/validate production counts and scrap transactions Provide MP&L team with daily line-ups Coordinate special cycle counts to assure actual physical inventory balances match inventory records Assist with plant cycle schedule and count confirmation Respond to VO/PTO schedule changes, react to quality, shipping, and schedule changes Assist in managing bailment activities as the need arises Assist in backing up MP&L salaried personnel as required Review / follow up critical supplier parts Set up critical supplier conference calls as needed Verify / answer promises in Ascent Review supplier cumulative disagree report - act if needed Monitor and minimize premium freight moves Verify no aging ASN'sReview Daily Production Report (DPR)Review aging end-item report Review end-item verification report Analyze/follow-up on daily negative report Review service status - as needed Attend all scheduled conference calls and meetings
Qualifications: You'll have...High School Diploma or GED1+ years' experience working in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Material Planning and Logistics, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or Packaging Proven track record of successfully interacting with plant hourly and salaried personnel, logistic carriers, and production suppliers Experience working in a manufacturing environment One or more years' experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, Power Point)Prior experience utilizing ERP systems Prior experience with data analytics tools preferred Strong analytical skills and quick decision-making capability Validated ability to work independently with limited supervision Experience in Material Planning and Logistics experience desired Self-starter, with a history of working under tight deadlines Even better, you may have...You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply! This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $72,480-121,440.This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480-141,360.Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
