Quality Manager

Responsibilities: Direct and sustain the organization's quality management framework, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 requirements and internal standards. Coordinate responses to customer quality issues by leading investigations, identifying underlying causes, and implementing effective corrective measures. Plan and oversee both internal and external audit activity while maintaining readiness for compliance reviews and follow-up actions. Work closely with production and engineering teams to refine processes, minimize defects, and advance continuous improvement efforts. Represent the quality function in customer discussions, providing clear communication during audits, reviews, and issue resolution activities. Supervise and mentor a small team of quality professionals, supporting development, accountability, and strong day-to-day execution. Lead nonconformance and quality resolution processes from initial assessment through documented closure and verification. Develop meaningful quality metrics and track performance trends to support operational goals and business decision-making. Support quality expectations tied to regulated industries, including military, defense, and potential automotive-related business. Foster a culture centered on problem-solving, ownership, and customer satisfaction throughout the organization.
