California Licensed Conflicts Attorney

Key responsibilities: Assist in identifying, resolving, and clearing potential or actual conflicts of interest related to new Firm representation or personnel Provide and draft waiver and engagement letters, ensuring compliance with Firm policies and professional responsibility rules Develop and implement conflicts training programs for newly hired staff while coordinating best practices and quality assurance protocols

Required qualifications: JD from an accredited institution and good standing with a state bar where the Firm has a physical office Minimum of 5 years of experience as a lawyer in a mid-size to large law firm, with significant experience in conflict of interest law preferred Comprehensive knowledge of ethical, legal, and risk management rules governing conflict of interest and related compliance issues Demonstrated ability to manage time-sensitive projects with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Proven leadership skills and experience working effectively with all levels of personnel
