About the Opportunity: TAKON Talent is partnering with a national commercial cleaning and facility services company to identify an experienced Controller to lead its accounting operations. This position is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader with a strong corporate accounting background, experience managing financial operations, and the ability to support a growing, multi-location organization.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports. Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations. Manage cash flow reporting, account reconciliations, and financial reporting accuracy. Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decisions. Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and operational efficiency. Support financial operations across multiple locations and business units. Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and other financial partners.

Qualifications: 10+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience, including experience serving as a Controller or in a comparable accounting leadership role. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. Experience overseeing accounting operations in a multi-location or multi-entity organization. Demonstrated ability to lead accounting teams and manage competing priorities. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel. Experience in commercial services, facilities management, or other labor-intensive service industries is a plus. CPA or advanced degree preferred, but not required. Compensation & Work Environment
