Description: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Employment Type: W-2 Full-Time, W-2 Part-Time, or 1099 opportunities available (varies by practice)
Schedule: Varies by practice (some opportunities may include evenings/weekends)
Location: In-person, hybrid, or remote within applicable states. ARC Health Partners is a managed service organization that partners with clinician-led mental health practices to provide operational and recruiting support while preserving each practice’s culture and clinical autonomy. This structure allows clinicians to find opportunities that align with their professional goals, preferred populations, and work style. This posting is a general application for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner interested in current or upcoming opportunities within our partner practices. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) at our partner practices provide high-quality comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, TMS services (if applicable), and ongoing treatment in an outpatient setting, working within a collaborative, patient-centered care model. Success in this role is demonstrated through safe prescribing practices, strong patient engagement, and close collaboration with therapy and interdisciplinary clinical teams.

ARC Health’s partner practices have Psychiatrists opportunities in the following states: AZ CO CT DC FL GA KS MI MO MN NC NY OH TN VA WAPMHNP Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric assessments and diagnoses Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications Monitor treatment response and adjust care plans Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation Collaborate with therapists and other providers as part of an integrated care model Site/Partner Practice dependent, PMHNPs may oversee staff technicians who perform daily TMS treatments
Requirements: Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License pursuant to the laws of the state where healthcare services are providedPossess and maintain a valid and unrestricted license(s) to practice nursing pursuant to the laws of the State where healthcare services are providedPossess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”) number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe medications, including controlled substances; Minimum of 1 year of post-certification experience, outpatient preferred Ability to function well independently, as well as a member of a multidisciplinary team, ability to work productively and effectively. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as thorough knowledge about the various medical processes and procedures Possess and maintain adequate/required Professional Liability Insurance policy Comply with prescription drug monitoring program regulations
Preferred Qualifications: Comfort with telepsychiatry Knowledge of evidence-based medication protocols
