Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Property Manager located in Great Neck, NY. The Assistant Property Manager will support the daily operations of residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities include communicating with tenants, coordinating maintenance requests, assisting with leases, managing vendor relationships, overseeing rent collection, and ensuring compliance with local property regulations. The role also involves supporting the Property Manager with budgeting, financial reporting, and overall property management tasks. Qualifications Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to effectively interact with tenants and stakeholders Experience with property management processes, including tenant relations, leasing, and rent collection Organizational, detail-oriented, and multitasking capabilities to manage daily operations and administrative tasks Proficiency in property management software and tools Understanding of local property regulations and compliance standards, specifically in New York City Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to address tenant concerns and resolve issues efficientlyA proactive and team-oriented approach with the ability to work under minimal supervision Prior experience in property management or real estate is strongly preferred Experience with App Folio Property Management software
