Are you a supply chain professional who enjoys staying ahead of problems instead of reacting to them? We're seeking a Supply Chain Planning & Procurement Manager located in Little Rock, Arkansas to lead production planning, inventory strategy, procurement, and supplier management. This role is critical to ensuring products remain available for customers while supporting company growth through effective forecasting, sourcing, and planning.
What You'll Do:
Develop production and procurement plans based on forecasts, inventory levels, promotions, and customer demand. Coordinate production schedules with contract manufacturing and co-packing partners. Manage inventory targets, safety stock, and replenishment strategies to prevent stockouts. Source and purchase raw materials, packaging, and production components. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while negotiating pricing, lead times, and service levels. Identify and onboard new suppliers that improve cost, quality, innovation, and supply security. Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Product Development to support business objectives. Drive process improvements that enhance forecasting accuracy, inventory performance, and supply chain efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
Required Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field.5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, procurement, sourcing, or inventory management. Experience working with contract manufacturers or co-packers. Strong forecasting and inventory planning experience. ERP/MRP system experience. Advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation abilities. Preferred Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience. Experience supporting major retail customers. APICS/CPIM, CSCP, or CPSM certification. Experience with S&OP processes.
