The successful candidate will help ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive environment while assisting students throughout practices, competitions, and related activities.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and support students during Special Olympics events and activities.
Assist with student safety, behavior, and participation.
Encourage positive sportsmanship and inclusion.
Work collaboratively with coaches and staff to support student success.
Perform other duties related to the position as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience working with students with disabilities, particularly students receiving special education services, preferred.
Ability to establish positive relationships with students and staff.
Dependable, patient, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
Salary:
Per STA Contract
In-District Athletic EventsUp to 3 hours: $100.00 per eventMore than 3 hours up to 6 hours: $200.00 per eventMore than 6 hours: $250.00 per event Out of District Athletic Events (field trips) Less than 5 hours: $150.00 per eventMore than 5hours: $250.00 per event
