Kitchen Porter

Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, floors, and utensils in accordance with New York State Department of Health standards, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment. Remove trash and recycling from the kitchen and office areas. Degrease and scrub ovens and other major kitchen equipment. Receive and store linen and paper supply orders, maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, and ensure the utility room remains clean and organized. Supervise interns and volunteers during routine cleaning and special projects. Receive and store deliveries in the appropriate areas when the Receiving Clerk is absent. Perform other duties as assigned.
