Sales Consultant - Retail

Sales Consultant Responsibilities: Engage all retail customers with the goal of increasing sales and store foot traffic Build a solid working knowledge of the company portfolio Understand our computer system operations in order to fully assist customers Active participation in wine and spirit programming to achieve key performance objectives Plan and execute store tastings and events Assist in opening or closing the store, including fiscal balancing duties

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience: Wine knowledge required; 2 years of related experience in sales and management within the wine industry preferred Licenses/Certifications: Responsible Vendor Card required (may be obtained after hire); wine certification preferred

Skills: Exceptional customer service, proficient in PC/Windows, data entry, cash register operations Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
