Dispatcher

Description: The City of Muskego is seeking a full-time Dispatcher within our Police Department. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment working within a Public Safety Answering Point for 911 emergency and administrative calls, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities within this role include dispatching Police, Fire and EMS personnel to various incidents throughout the city. Operates radio, teletype and ProPhoenix CAD/RMS/EMD system to facilitate up-to-date and timely records. Dispatchers also perform clerical duties, provide customer service and complete administrative support tasks. The working schedule is a 4-2, 4-2 rotation. Shift selection is based on seniority on a yearly basis. Lateral transfer program includes wage and benefit incentive.

Minimum Requirements include: High school diploma or equivalent Any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge Ability to become TIME operator certified is required Must have the ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends Preferred Qualifications: Prior emergency communications related experience The hourly rate is $28.26 to $36.73 per hour.
