Job Description: Plans, schedules and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production Develops raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production May use Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems May negotiate lead times with suppliers and manage schedules for timely delivery May have responsibility for maintaining inventory control of equipment parts

Responsibilities: A Team Leader (M2) supervises professional level employees (typically entry or experienced level) and may also supervise some para-professional employees. Responsibilities typically include: Setting goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results Problems faced may be difficult but typically are not complex Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders Skills Production Schedule Demand Planning Warehouse Operations Lean Manufacturing Cycle Counting Supply Chain Acumen Material Flow Management Supply Chain Planning Production Planning
