Commercial Music Instructor Pool-Part-Time

Minimum Qualifications: Any bachelor’s degree or higher and at least two years of professional teaching experience in music. OR any associate degree and at least six years of professional teaching experience in music. OR a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject area. Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion, with sensitivity to students from varied backgrounds. Desirable Qualifications Demonstrated success working with underrepresented or marginalized students, nontraditional learners, or students with learning disabilities. Experience teaching online or hybrid courses. Professional music credentials or certifications. Salary Per lecture unit rate: $1,572.67 – $1,725.85. Per lab parity unit rate: $1,572.67 – $1,725.85. Per lab unit rate: $1,258.16 – $1,380.60.
