FTAI invests in aviation assets and aerospace products that generate strong and stable cash flows with the potential for earnings growth and asset this role a highly skilled and detail-oriented specialist will be working in our aviation repair station, focusing on High Pressure Compressor (HPC) blades for commercial jet engines. This role is critical to ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of next-generation aircraft powerplants.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform visual, dimensional inspections on HPC blades and vanes using approved tools and gauges. Verify conformity to specifications and repair manuals. Identify defects such as cracks, wear, erosion, or distortion, and document findings inspection criteria, technical drawings, and work instructions. Record inspection results in accordance with company and FAA documentation standards. Collaborate with technicians and engineers to resolve nonconformance issues. Maintain calibration and cleanliness of inspection tools and work areas.
Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and with common inspection tools (micrometers, indicators, optical comparators, borescopes).Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Strong knowledge of industry standards, advanced repair techniques, and FAA/EASA regulatory compliance. (Preferred)Shift is 1pm-9:30pm (2nd Shift) Friday ONLY is 6am-2:30pm
