Psychiatry - Consultation Liaison Physician

Location: Illinois, RemotePart-time, Weekend availabilityPOSITION OVERVIEW:We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Consult Liaison Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide telehealth psychiatric care for patients of all ages in Illinois. This weekends-only role offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for a provider interested in providing consult liaison services for a Chicago-area hospital with a daily census of 5-8 patients that is expected to increase over the coming year. This Consult-Liaison PMHNP role is currently classified as a 1099 contractor position with a pay per patient model, but IPC is open to discussion of other contract models. Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality care. Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in line with clinical and regulatory requirements. Apply a patient-centered approach to care, tailoring treatment plans to meet individual needs and preferences. Weekends, Part-time only. 12-hour shifts are preferred, but scheduling is flexible._QUALIFICATIONSPMHNPActive, unrestricted NP license in the State of Illinois or the ability to obtain one. Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one. Experience with telepsychiatry and managing diverse, multi-age patient populations is highly preferred. Must be able to work remotely; candidates can reside anywhere in the U.S. (Illinois licensure preferred).
