Position Summary: The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing ultrasound exams, demonstrates proficiency in cross sectional anatomy as it pertains to ultrasound and recognizes the significance of all structures visualized on the ultrasound unit and differentiates artifacts from normal or pathological processes in a timely matter.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
  • Education Required
  • Must complete in-house orientation program
  • Graduate of an A.M.A. accredited school of ultrasound. Experience AndSkillsExcellent interpersonal skills
  • Speaks, reads and writes English
  • Ultrasound skills in Breast Ultrasound and General diagnostic-Required
  • Vascular experience is a plus. License/CertificationsR.D.M.S is required.

Working Conditions:
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn
  • Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time.
  • Pushing: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.
  • Pulling: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
  • Medium work: Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, &/or up to 30 lbs. of force frequently, &/ or up 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Repetitive motion: Substantial movements of the wrists, hands, or fingers.
