Warehouse Associate

Location: Claremore, OK

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse & Forklift Associate to join our busy lumber yard team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring lumber inventory is moved safely, orders are accurate, and customers receive fast, friendly service. The ideal candidate is a team player who can safely operate a forklift and enjoys a fast-paced, physical working environment.

Core Responsibilities: Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to move, stack, and organize heavy lumber bundles, building materials, and pallets throughout the yard and warehouse. Customer Service: Greet and assist contractors and retail customers in the yard; locate materials and help bundle or securely tie down orders. Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load customer vehicles and incoming/outgoing delivery trucks; unload freight shipments from vendors and verify inventory counts. Yard Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard by sweeping debris, stacking materials neatly, and following all safety protocols.

Experience: Proven experience operating a forklift (certification is a major plus).Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy lumber and materials (up to 50–75 lbs frequently) throughout an 8-hour shift.

Work Environment: Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).

Skills: Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members; basic math skills for tracking inventory. Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong attendance record.

Consistent Schedule: Stable daytime hours with weekends off (Monday–Friday).
