Mechanical Engineer II

What you'll be doing: Develop marine propellers for outboard engines through analysis of hydrodynamics, structural mechanics, and manufacturability. Coordination and planning of on-water testing and evaluation from proof of concept through production. Develop and implement advanced CAE processes for design of marine products. FEA/CFD analysis to support product development on cross-functional teams. Learn established development processes and assist with continuous process improvement to improve efficiency What you need to be successful: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Marine Engineering.3+ years of experience designing consumer or industrial products.3+ years of experience in marine industry product design preferred. Proven experience in cross-functional teams. Proven experience applying FEA and/or CFD to product development, experience with NX NASTRAN/STAR-CCM+ preferred. Highly Skilled with 3D CAD tools like Solid Works, NX, CAESES, etc. Experience or project work using formal optimization techniques preferred. Programming in Matlab, C/C++, Python, etc. Willingness to travel to Yamaha Motor Japan, suppliers, and testing sites as needed. Don't meet every single requirement?
