Job Description:
The Mold Shop Supervisor is accountable for supervising hourly personnel in all phases of machine and mold shop operation, along with all related design and specification activities.
The Mold Shop Supervisor will:
Reviewbottle quality and mold equipment operating data
Analyzeblueprints, job histories, and specifications tomakerecommendations relative to equipment operating adjustments and equipment design changes
Conducts periodic inspections
Ensure correct use of safety equipment and thatsafety policies are followed
Oversee Mold Maker apprenticeship programs
The Mold Shop Supervisor should have:
Experience supervising and training employees and managing cross-functional teams
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
Be able to support job changes and improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
High school diploma required
Bachelor Degree in Engineering is preferred
Glass manufacturing knowledge and experience desired
Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.
Strong mechanical background
Prior mold shop operation experience is preferred
Working knowledge of SAP desired

Salary Range:
The expected salary range for this position is between $115,000 - $125,000 and includes a possible 12% short-term incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
