About the Role:
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Construction to lead the safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery of its utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage project portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end construction execution of 3-8 simultaneous projects, totaling 1-2 GW of annual installed capacity. This role demands a decisive field leader with a strong background in contract administration, multi-project management, and a deep understanding of construction sequencing, civil and electrical scopes, and commissioning processes. The VP of Construction will be the key interface for stakeholder coordination, including utilities, local authorities, and community stakeholders, and will be expected to champion a zero-incident safety culture while ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years' experience in project management and construction leadership within the utility-scale power generation or renewable energy sector, with at least 5 years in a senior construction role. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, and a PMP certification is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering utility-scale solar PV projects of 100 MW or larger and extensive experience in administering EPC contracts. Technical expertise in construction project controls, scheduling, and a working knowledge of OSHA standards and environmental compliance are essential.
