A group in central Virginia is seeking a physician to diagnose, treat and manage the long-term care of adult patients with cancer and blood disorders. This is a 3-month locum tenens assignment. Providers need to be highly skilled and explore all treatment options with a fully integrated, patient-focused approach. This facility is staffed by a care team which includes other physicians, oncology-certified nurses, support nurses as well as additional support personnel. The incoming physician needs to be Board Certified or Board Eligible. The group prefers physicians with at least 1-2 years of experience in Hematology/Oncology.
