Opening due to regional expansion No trauma designation Volume expectation is 1.5 -2 patients per hourEMR system: Epic (w/ PACS, Dragon dictation, and AI scribe)Physician coverage model: 70% physician/ 30% APCScribe / support staff: AI scribe, HUC (unit secretary), Tech (splints/IV)Specialty back-up: Hospitals (Gen surg, Most Surgical Specialists, Anesthesia, OBGYN) some IRDTWN: neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery, EP, ophthoFSED: RT 24/7, Doc on site Position Details Schedule structure: Mostly 9- & 10-hour shifts. Occasional 12-hour. Shifts per month, No call Weekend & some holiday coverage required. Competencies include laceration repairs, I&D, FB removal & full eye exam. Patient population primarily underserved, non-urban, young family s vs retirement Volume expectation is 1.5 -2 patients per hour.
