Job Description: This recruitment will be used to fill one part‑time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Tax Research Student Assistant for the College of Business – School of Accounting, Finance, and Information Systems at Oregon State University (OSU). Pay rate for this position is $16.55 per hour. Position DutiesAssist in collecting and organizing financial and tax data from public companies' annual reports. Successful candidate is expected to have strong listening skills, familiarity with 10‑K reports, and the responsibility to complete research tasks within designated time frames. Successful candidate is expected to spend up to 10 hours per week on assisting faculty in collecting and analyzing tax and financial data. Required Qualifications: Applicants must be students at Oregon State University with a GPA of 3.0 or better.
Preferred Qualifications: It is preferred that candidates possess a strong skill in Python coding, experience in working with AI, familiarity with financial reports, and attention to detail. Working Conditions/ScheduleCandidate is expected to conduct meetings in person but complete tasks remotely. Work schedule is flexible as long as assigned tasks are completed with high quality within designated timeliness. Team meeting spaces will be provided for on‑campus research training and periodic meetings.
