Photo & Video Editor Intern – Outdoor Advertising

Position Overview: SILVERCAST Media is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Photo & Video Editor Intern to join our team. This internship is ideal for someone passionate about visual storytelling, content creation, photography, video, and advertising who wants hands-on experience working with campaigns for major global brands. The intern will primarily focus on editing and enhancing photo and video content of SILVERCAST's outdoor advertising portfolio and client campaigns. You'll work with real-world creative assets from some of the most recognizable advertising locations in New York City, including Times Square, the Penn District, Herald Square, SoHo, and more.

Key Responsibilities: Edit and retouch photos of SILVERCAST billboards, signage, and advertising campaigns Edit video footage into polished campaign recaps, highlight reels, sizzle reels, and social media content Perform photo enhancements including color correction, lighting adjustments, perspective correction, object removal, and general retouching Assist with video color correction, transitions, graphics, typography, music, and other post-production elements Resize and optimize photo and video assets for social media, presentations, marketing materials, and client deliverables Help ensure all visual content reflects SILVERCAST's premium brand and quality standards

What We're Looking For: Current student or recent graduate studying Film, Photography, Video Production, Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects Strong photo retouching and video editing skillsA strong eye for composition, color, lighting, typography, and visual storytelling Understanding of social media content and short-form video editing Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Creative, proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn Experience with motion graphics, animation, or other creative software is a plus Interest in advertising, media, entertainment, or out-of-home advertising is a plus What You'll Gain Hands-on experience editing content for major global brands and high-profile advertising campaigns Exposure to the outdoor advertising and media industry Experience working with campaigns displayed in some of the most iconic locations in New York City Mentorship and collaboration with SILVERCAST's marketing and creative teams An opportunity to develop your editing, storytelling, and creative production skills in a professional environment
