Assistant Executive Housekeeper

Location: Washington, VA

Compensation: $85,000–$95,000 + comprehensive benefits + potential relocation assistance We are hiring on behalf of a luxury five-star hospitality property for an Assistant Executive Housekeeper to support the Executive Housekeeper and oversee daily housekeeping operations. This is a strong leadership opportunity with potential to step into the Executive Housekeeper position in the future.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop a housekeeping team of 10+ employees. Oversee guest room and public area cleanliness and luxury service standards. Manage scheduling, labor costs, budgets, inventory and purchasing. Conduct regular inspections and ensure consistent quality standards. Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering and F&B to support the overall guest experience. Handle hiring, training, coaching and performance management. Step in to lead the department during the Executive Housekeeper’s absence.

Ideal Candidate: 3–5+ years of progressive housekeeping experience, including management/supervisory experience. Experience leading and developing a housekeeping team. Strong understanding of luxury hotel housekeeping standards. Experience with labor management, budgeting and inventory control. Highly organized, hands-on and detail-oriented. Luxury, Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five-Diamond or comparable experience preferred.
