Thoracic Medical Oncologist

OHSU seeks a physician-investigator to lead and expand its Thoracic, Head and Neck Oncology program. The role combines patient care with strategic program leadership, clinical and translational research, clinical-trial development, teaching, mentorship, and public service. The successful candidate will develop research collaborations, manage program resources, and advance care and research for thoracic and head and neck cancers. Co-direct the Comprehensive Lung Program and develop a long-term strategic plan for thoracic, head and neck oncology. Build collaborations among basic science laboratories, translational research teams, and clinical operations. Expand clinical operations, patient referral pathways, and the portfolio of open clinical trials. Manage assigned endowment funds, research space, and program budgets. Provide patient-centered care for people with lung, thoracic, and head and neck malignancies. Lead or mentor clinical and translational research, publish findings, teach trainees, and represent OHSU in national and community activities.
