Major areas of performance include assisting with maintaining and understanding vendor service agreements, overseeing service providers, providing and maintaining service to warehouse and production equipment, monitoring building security, overseeing training and testing of power equipment certifications, overseeing general preventive maintenance of all production and warehouse equipment, performing and maintaining records of all required tests and inspections of fire protection equipment, security equipment, and alarm systems, overseeing and keeping records of all safety inspections, keeping records readily available, demonstrating the ability to maintain a team approach with all levels of the organization promoting a productive and harmonious work environment, working with all areas to help provide them with various tools and equipment they need to perform their duties, overseeing the appropriate handling and documentation of all hazardous materials used in the facility through our SDS program, recognizing and reacting to potential accidents and hazardous causing situations in a timely manner to help ensure that we have a safe clean and orderly working environment, working with and following ISO policies, procedures and processes, consistently enforcing all company policies and procedures, providing a safe working environment through adherence to OSHA regulations as well as company safety policies, and regular and punctual attendance. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
(experience, education, knowledge, skills) required include an associate's degree or vocational certificate, 2+ years supervisory experience, previous facility and equipment maintenance experience, experience with warehouse equipment, previous leadership experience preferred including coaching and development of employees, ability to determine priorities, make decisions, and manage an organized operation, ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally, ability to work independently and in teams, ability to handle stressful situations with tact and control, certified forklift equipment instructor, PC skills, attention to detail, ISO quality knowledge and training.
