CVOR Tech - Operating Room
Location: Portland, Maine
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shifts available include:
Days: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PMEvenings: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PMNights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Job Description: We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience preferably in a Level 1 trauma setting and will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures while ensuring a sterile environment.
Responsibilities: Assist the surgical team during operations. Prepare and maintain the sterile field throughout the procedure. Handle surgical instruments and supplies efficiently. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure: At least 2 years of experience in a surgical setting, with Level 1 trauma experience preferred. Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).Experience in specialty areas such as General, GU/GYN, Orthopedic trauma, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, and Endovascular is highly preferred.
