This position serves as a key internal hub for connecting the construction department to consultants, properties, and AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction). Success in the Junior Project Manager role requires a practical, efficient, and task-oriented workstyle.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide managerial oversight for construction projectsAssist in pre-construction services such as estimating, project planning, professional reporting, cost updating, and cost reportingBuild rapport and trust consistently with various parties including trade partners, governing entities, and property level team membersCreate, update, and maintain schedule of projects, tasks, and associated duties regularly including PSR (Project Status Report) All other duties as assignedEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience is requiredMust have one to three (1-3) years of progressive construction industry experience preferably in a Project Administrator or Project Engineer functionMust have pricing knowledge as it relates to project plans, budgets, and costsMust have a working proficiency with Microsoft Office products to include Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPointMust have excellent presentation, facilitation, and general computer skillsMust demonstrate proactive and self-sufficient characteristics on a consistent basisWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis individual primarily works in an office setting seated at a desk for extended periods of timeMust be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) poundsMust be able to travel as directed to properly provide guidance, and Suntex corporate strategy to trade partners on construction related projects and developmentsMust possess a valid driver's license as the individual is required to drive on behalf of the Company to visit various site locations as needed Must be able to operate general computer equipment to include a laptop, keyboard, mouse, and cellular or desk phoneSTATEMENT OF PURPOSEThis document provides descriptive information about the above Suntex Marinas position.
