Sourdough Bread Baker The Bread Chic is looking for an experienced, hardworking baker to join our overnight production team. We specialize in artisan San Francisco-style sourdough, handmade pastries, and high-quality baked goods made from scratch with organic and locally sourced ingredients. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position for someone who thrives in an early morning bakery environment and takes pride in consistency, quality, and teamwork. Schedule Overnight/Early Morning Shift Current start time: 12:00 AMTransitioning to a later start time of 2:00 AMResponsibilities Bake all sourdough breads for retail, wholesale, and farmers markets Bake muffins, scones, pies, cookies, and other pastry items Bake cinnamon breads and pretzels Maintain consistent quality, bake times, and presentation standards Coordinate production with other bakers, front of house teams, and market staff Help organize daily bake flow for multiple locations and wholesale accounts Assist with oven management, timing, and production efficiency Keep bakery stations clean, organized, and food-safe Work collaboratively with the production team to hit daily goals
