Job Title: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER I

Location: Jacksonville, FL, US 32201

Job Type: Full-Time

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Travel: Up to 25%

Job Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Solid understanding of electrical theory and engineering techniques.
Ability to read and interpret schematics.
Familiarity with lab tools (multimeter, power supplies, etc.).
Familiarity with engineering standards (ASME, IEEE, NEC, IEC, etc.).
Good computer skills with Microsoft Office applications.
Working knowledge of military connectors, terminals, wiring, and circuit protection a plus.
Working knowledge of both AC (single and three phase, 60-400Hz) and DC electrical systems a plus.
Working knowledge of serial communication protocols (RS232, RS482, RS422, ARINC-429, etc.) a plus.
Working knowledge of video (VGA, DVI, DP, HDMI) and communication (USB, Serial, Ethernet) connectivity a plus.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
Experience in reverse-engineering a plus.
Must be able to travel.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and in writing.
Must be able to obtain a security clearance when required by the contract.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline from an ABET accredited school, Electrical Engineering is strongly preferred.
Some experience with CAD tools; AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks Electrical experience is preferred.
