This role is pivotal in supporting the CTOO, which is at the forefront of the company's innovation in enterprise AI, hybrid AI platforms, and next-generation technology development. The successful candidate will be an embedded business and technology advisor, providing strategic legal counsel in areas such as enterprise AI agents, model and agent platforms, strategic alliances, university collaborations, and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include identifying and managing legal issues in the development pipeline, acting as a liaison for various corporate legal functions, and maintaining a deep understanding of the mechanics and economics of technology innovation. Applicants for this position should have a JD from a top-tier law school, with a preference for those with strong academic credentials. A minimum of 10 years' legal experience, ideally in technology, software, AI, data, infrastructure, or electronics, is required. The role demands a candidate with a business, technical product, software, AI/ML, data platform, or engineering-adjacent background, and a comprehensive knowledge of legal topics relevant to a technology business. The ideal candidate will have the ability to balance risk and develop pragmatic strategies, strong communication skills, and experience in advising senior executives on strategic technology initiatives. A combination of in-house and outside counsel experience, as well as a background in R&D organizations, is also preferred.
