Essential Duties and Functions: Safely and efficiently operate a forklift within designated guidelines Load and unload materials from trucks Transport materials across the facility in a safe, organized manner Inspect equipment to ensure safe operation Assist with general shop operations and maintenance tasks Maintain awareness and take action to prevent hazards Demonstrate reliable and consistent attendance Building forms and bending rebar to specifications Shop yard maintenance Small equipment operations (Dozers and forklifts)
Qualifications:
MUST HAVE previous forklift experience Strong desire to learn new responsibilities and grow with the company Ability to work independently with a safety-focused attitude Reliable performance, punctuality, and attendance Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check
Work Environment:
Exposure to machinery, outdoor weather conditions, and vibration Frequent wet or humid conditions; loud work environment Typical schedule: 812 hour shifts, 57 days/week during peak season; occasional night work
Physical Requirements:
